A couple minutes prior to the bride walking in with her dad, a lady approached me with a camera and announced that she wouldn't get in my way, and not to worry. Bride and dad come down the aisle, and I get those shots. I turn to photograph the groom's face, when I see my lady friend....

For this reason I always keep a short briefing with the guest before the ceremony starts.

I usually tell those people that, unless they're charging the clients, they should be on my tail. And even then, we have to discuss hierarchy. I simply don't let them be in my way.
