Is this look acheived in camera or in PP? It looks like the contrast is decreased but one has a warm look and the other has a cool look. I can't figure it out. Ideas please?

Not positive. I'd say they could be either. Some have a post processing look to them where colors are manipulated, but they could be shot with a LensBaby lens that gives the quick fall off to OOF, or it can be done in post.

They look like post processing. You can get presets that do this.
The first one looks more like a cross processing/split toning type of preset.
The second one looks like a spring/summer type preset has been used.

I think this style is what is being called "matte." I think because it gives the look of being printed on matte photo paper. Thanks for the replies.
