Default Disable Photos from auto open (Mac)

Tired of Photos opening auto maticly when lugging in a camera or sd card and some other devices also. I find this very irritating especially when tethering camera in Lightroom.

I have tried all the so called "cures" that I have googled and to no avail.

I finally have come up one that seems to be working

1. Open Terminal.app (found in Utilities menu)

2. paste in this code : defaults -currentHost write com.apple.ImageCapture disableHotPlug -bool YES

3. Hit enter key

4. Reboot you Mac ( required to take effect)

This has worked for me (so far)
