good series there. In fact I recognize a couple of them and owned one. I think I've seen a steam tractor before with a rooster on the boiler. Definitely have seen a Massey Harris but had rubber tires. Pretty sure that Studebaker I've seen. The interesting one is the Fargo (Dodge), used to have one with the step-side box.

Thanks for sharing and reviving some memories.

Some nice old pieces of transportation that probably serve a great purpose when used back in the day. The best ones to me are the trucks, but I could see some liking the tractors too. Well done, good post. Appreciated.

Yes I guess you could say that. I used to go as a kid to "Old Thresher Men's Day" and they always showed a steamer pulling an 8 to 12 bottom plow. Forgot to mention Waterloo Boy, they used to have one at the John Deere Tractor works, we'd get to do a tour in grade school. Growing up on a farm, got to see a lot of different equipment and in town there were 'old' guys with Kaisers and Studebakers.
Best one was the Dodge though. Mine had a transplanted Desoto Firedome Hemi in it. Unfortunately I had to sell it to help make a down payment on a house. It was a fun project.
