In P7 you could merge type with "control G." In CS I can't find how to do it.

Default In P7 you could merge type with "control G." In CS I can't find how to do it.

In Photoshop 7 you could merge type into photo or any layer with Control G.
In CS "control G" gets you a layer group.
I have read everywhere but can't find the "clip & show through feature"

ANSWER!!! Alt click on the line between the 2 layers.
(i just answered my own question!)
it was in the tutorial CD
