Default Good Idea?

It would be great if PhotoCamel had a forum named "How I Got This Shot" or something similar, stating the lighting arrangement, composition and pertinent settings. Plus maybe throwing in a few diagrams to boot. Just a thought

It's not a bad idea, but if you ask, I think everyone here will give you a detailed description, and diagrams most times as well. That's been the case in the Portraits and Kids forums, anyway. I'm sure the rest would too.

I agree with you Rain Lily. But wouldn't it be less complex to be able to just see posted photo with this info (especially those shots that are extremely cool) without having to ask 10 different questions everytime? Not trying to be difficult, just very inquisitive

How about just start a thread in Lighting and name it "How I got this Shot"? There are some long running threads like one in off-topic (ban the person above me). These threads within a board seem like a good approach, rather than making a new board for such a narrow topic. I'd certainly like to see a "how I did it" offering here.

Steve

That's an even better idea. Thanks Steve!
