Although #3's title could be seen as mildly disrespectful, I think it goes perfectly with the image. It made me laugh out loud and brightened an otherwise grey day. Good work and don't let yourself being dragged down by the political correctness patrol.

Korman

Thank you sir. Glad I brightened up your day.

Sad thing here is that we Asians can get away with it scot-free. If Westerners do this, expect the 'patrol' to swoop in almost instantaneously. Just sad.

I'm a Roman Catholic, living in Singapore, and I roam around with Muslim friends everyday. They even call their women Jawas which is really funny and we laugh just as hard when we call our nuns penguins.

I just hope the rest of the world lightens up.

Man these are sweet shots and great editing

I agree with your signature, great imagination coupled with a good eye.

Would you mind sharing some of your PP as I do basically none to my work and these have intrigued me?

Thank you sir.

Sure, my PP's never a secret. It's a combo of camera setting and PP, actually. I achieve selective lighting by using spot metering (turn off the DRO if you're an Alpha user). Pick deeply shaded areas with streaks of sunlight peeping through building gaps, leaves, etc., and fire away when a face hits your sunlight.

For the PP, I correct the white balance, and 'un-correct' it by adjusting the warm tones to give the photo a golden brown hue. It may sound unnecessary to correct and un-correct it, but I find it helpful because it serves as a basis of what the photo should look like when it's ordinary and if I've gone overboard with my golden browns. I then bump up the Blacks and Lens Vignetting levers just a wee bit to help isolate the subject from distractions some more. All of these are done on CS4 Camera Raw.

Hope this helps.
