Default Electric Guitar

This is a guitar I built from scratch a couple years ago. I saw the quilted maple on a lumber website and had to have it. 5 piece neck through body design.

Very nice, I would like it better without the loose string

Thanks, the guitar is in tune though. The pick in the strings may be what you are seeing as a sagging A string.

He sees the highlight on the trem bar as a loose
string. That bold bent white line is a problem in
terms of ease of "reading" the shot.

Looks like m'hogny neck and back ? Tasteeee ....

Nice guitar, Greg. I think you can present your guitar best by raising it a little and lighting from the right back with a reflector in the front. This would remove the harsh specular highlights that are very distracting and make the trem bar obvious.

Thanks Jim. I need to revisit this sometime, work is getting busy now so I don't know when it will happen. The main light (a 2x2 softbox) was upper right and back some which is what is causing the kick on the trem. There was also a flash low and camera left to light edge of the guitar near the strap cleat. That one could use some diffusion.

A nice shot of a beautiful guitar, Greg but I also think it could be further improved by standing the guitar upright.
