Which radio remote do you use for your a7 Sony camera? Thanks!

Are you trying to trigger the camera with a radio remote or trying to trigger strobes from the camera?

try your smartphone as the trigger via playmemories app. it not only works as a remote, you can change most of the camera shooting and video settings via the app, the best part is you can see your shot in a much larger screen which is your phone screen.

I tried. I couldn’t connect my phone with it. Tried several times.

For triggering a camera , the gold standard is still Pocket Wizard, either the MultiMAX or Plus in their latest incarnations... the MultiMAX II and whatever the current Plus units are. Used MultiMAX or Plus/Plus II units are certainly viable, though if you break the LCD screen on the original MultiMAX it cannot be replaced.

LPA/PocketWizard doesn’t make a trigger cable for the Sony mirrorless cameras, but this one is only $11 at B&H... you can buy a bunch of them: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...r_release.html

Make sure the connector is 3.5mm, not 2.5mm, and that you are getting the cable “for select Sony cameras with Multi-Terminal”.
