True. But I've looked all-over these parts, and have yet to see a Camel. However, we
do have Llamas!!!

I wonder where Lecter got his avatar...? I haven't been to Knowland Park Zoo in a while, but I have seen both a (dromedary) camel and a llama there.

Really...how bad IS camel breath? Horse breath isn't that bad, neither is cow breath, not as bad as dog breath anyway (when you can't reach your backside with your tongue there is only so bad your breath can get whether you brush your teeth or not I guess ). I would imagine camel breath is along the same lines as cows and horses. Not that I want to find out personally, but I'm curious.

Ooh...and with that senseless post, I attained Dromedary status.

Hmm,

Perhaps 10k posts should earn the honorific of 'Dulah'. For those who know camels, it is a sight not soon to be forgotten.
Once you've ticked off a camel enough to get it to wave its dulah around ... you can pretty much forget about keeping lunch down.

Heh. Coward!

I rarely question the infinite wisdom of Mother Nature, but in the case of adding a dulah to camels ... Mother Nature was completely insane. There is absolutely, positively NO REASON to allow an animal to do something like that. I've witnessed it first hand on four occasions and each time gone away with nightmares. The first time I was only about 5 feet away from a rather upset male dromedary who reared up (an impressive sight when that close) and ... all I can say is "YUCK!!!!". Once you find out, you may want to rename the site Photo Turtle or after something that can't do things like that.

Who you calling coward? Chicken maybe, but not coward. I read about it. I was warning others so they could sleep at night.
