Is it possible to post an image from my private album in the Photocamel Gallery? Underneath the image, there is no "Medium Image" URL. I have only "Linked Thumbnail" and "Linked Image" URLs.

I'll answer my own question here, since no one else did. Posting from private albums works fine. I just used the "Linked Image" URL.

You have done a tremendous service to those of us who just take family and vacation shots but who have now taken the first step to improvement by seeking input and critiques from those of you with more experience, education and ability. Instructing us "newbies" (a new term for me at that!) in the procedure for rosting photos correctly will only enable us to learn more. Again, thank you for taking the time to teach the newcomers. Back to shooting film!

Hi

What's the difference between the PhotoCamel gallery and the albums in the forum control panel profile? When would I use which one?

Should I use the gallery URL or the profile album picture URL to link images to a thread?

ciao

Help, I have ended up with thumbnails.

Last night I posted a number of photos under the thread of Go Karts in the Sports forum, which unfortunately did not come out as expected. The photos were sourced from my Photocamel gallery. I thought I followed all the instructions and resized the originals to 1000 pixels x 667 pixels via Save to Web in Elements.

Any advice as to where I have gone wrong?

Yeah, you probably took the code from the "thumbnail" box rather than "medium image."
