Lighting looks great on the 2nd one, a little flat on #1. Nice shots and I love that chair.

Think the face being square to the camera adds to the flatness of the image. Some tilts or angles would have helped the image. Also the lack of expression just makes it another snap shot.

I agree with the flat lighting in #1. #2 On the other hand, the lighting gave the model a better 3-Dimentional look.
