Very, very nice. I like that you got the C130 dead center, great posing of the crew, and that Metz owes you nothing! Being extremely picky, it's too bad the turboprop on the left wing stopped where it's blade intersects his left arm.

Do you know which one is the LoadMaster?

Speak Their Names ... They shall no be forgotten

A completely empty C130 was the largest aircraft that could take off from Quan Loi's metal airstrip without JATO. In November of 1969, they hit one with a rocket as it was landing. What is hard to see are the 266 shrapnel holes in the fuselage, some of which hit and killed Norm Thomas, the LoadMaster. He's on Panel 16W Line 91 of The Wall.

Thank you.
Things have been busy here.
I closed my studio after 23 years, focused my attention on volume photography with the occasional military shoot.
Traveling....LOTS Of travel.

I'd love to hear about what you are doing now and in the near future, but that conversation belongs in another thread and I don't want to pull this one off-topic.

No worries about pulling this thread off topic.
I have been super busy. Travel a lot for photographic association work, speaking engagements and my own personal portfolio.

In 2015 I finished a 7 year stint on the Executive Council of Texas Professional Photographers Association. I still serve as the Chairman of the TPPA Print Competition Committee.
In January 2017 I finished work on PPA's Master Artist Degree, then a year later was awarded the Imaging Excellence Award by PPA in Nashville TN for landing my 13th image into PPA's Loan Collection.
I was re-elected as a Texas Delegate to PPA in 2018, a 3 year photographic term. (the photographic equivalent to the House of Representatives).
Texas PPA's National Award (lifetime photographic achievement award) in June 2018.

Three years ago I started a side company, HallMark, concentrating on sport leagues, school sports and schools. It did better than expected so I closed McCall Professional Imaging in Feb. of this year. For the first time in my career, I'm working from home and I LOVE IT!!!!
Should have done this years ago.

As for travel,
Midland Texas, 8-21
Oklahoma City, 9-9
Dallas 10-11
Nashville, TN, 1-16-2020
Washington DC, 1-27-2020
New Orleans, LA, 3-14-2020
Houston, TX 6-27-2020

I still have a sophomore in high school who plays every-sport-known-to-man so that keeps me jumping as well.

That's about it. LOL
Been bored. Need something to do. Haha
