It's been a long time since I have critiqued a photo.
-The first impression is that this was to be a high key photo due to the large amount of white, however the very dark pants suggests that it was not intended to be high key.
- I think that all of the clothes should be light.
- The camera should be a little higher because the child's head seems too buried in the white fur, also usually anything that is in the foreground should not be out of focus (however sometimes oof can work ).

A higher camera position would have eliminated the distracting fuzzy blanker he is laying on, otherwise it is a nice shot.

Was not intended as high key, you are correct. I did not care for the background, so I dodged it.

I thought the camera position was a little low as well.
