Default Alan and I working together

I took this shot of my son Alan and he did the post-processing. I used a single led light from the left. Please, criticize.

I like the photography but am wondering what you were trying to achieve in how the photography came to be.

OK, he's kind of getting started in the electronic music field, he's got a number of good pieces done so far and he got me to shoot a session out of which he would pick the photo that he'd use in the cover of his first single(when he has one, of course) this was his pick.
You know, I never really wondered what he was trying to achieve, but I'll sure ask him and let you know. Thanks, Mike.

Very interesting. Fairly dramatic I would like to see it converted to B&W.

The blacks have no detail in them so they look like ink. There are several areas of extreme overexposure where there is no detail in the whites so they look like snow. The heavy black shadow across his face is distracting. The cropped off right hand is problematic but I like the angle of his body and his expression.
