Default Lenses for Hawaii

Booked passage to Honolulu the first of Feb. (first grandbaby due the 24th Jan) any suggestions on lens choices?

You will need a fast lens here. Not because that you need something fast but you need the shallow DOF to enhance the emotion.

The key is emotion. And here's the formula :

shallower DOF = more emotion

I would use 85 f1.2L and shoot at 1.2..aim for the eyes of the baby. But you can also use 50mm f1.8 or any large aperture lens.
