Default Geotagging

Does anyone geotag their photos and if so what camera do you use?

JAF Doorhof does, so you might want to read this thread here at the Camel...

Also, I believe he got the Gisteq PhotoTrackr. It records data to RAW files too (most do it for JPG's)

I currently don't have a body that is capable but if I did I would make sure that function was disabled or the tag stripped out of the file. Personally I wouldn't want that information readily available to anyone. Recently there have been more instances around the world where legally and otherwise this information has been used to the detriment of photographers and subjects both.
Just an advisory.FYI.

You do not need any special camera to geotag photos.

You need a GPS receiver and a camera and set the correct time zone on the GPS receiver, and the correct time on the camera. Leave the GPS record the position in the bag and take your photos.

Once at home, special software will readout the time where the photo has been taken from the exif and look where it was in the GPS tracklog.

I am using a Garmin GPSMAP60CSx as receiver and the software roboGEO.

I used Picasa and Google Earth - but then I am cheap!
