I don't know how often you have visited the Guess the Close-Up forum, but toys are the featured objects in many of these threads.

BTW - many of these toy images are amusing and easy to do. perhaps I'll try a few.

A good idea, especially as I'm a semi-shut-in. I think, however, that I'd have a tough time with indoor lighting; don't know much about it or have any equipment. Have to check out DIY videos on you-tube I guess, but the basic idea is certainly doable.
