He is either badly confused or he is deliberately taunting you. If he keeps it up that will be your confirmation so I think you should just ignore him.

Quote from author Christian Cameron on his 40 day, self imposed exile of social media "I’m afraid I’ve come to see the world of Social Media as largely an excuse for angry people to be angry without a social responsibility to hold their peace."

You have to have a pretty thick skin to throw yourself out there. Excellent image.

Someone just has a lot of class. It's all low but he has a lot of it.. I'd just consider the source and ignore him. There are plenty of folks that think they know everything. Looking at his stuff, he must not like your picture because your colors aren't all over saturated like his.

And exactly why do you care about one random person's opinion on the internet?

However, on the flip side, putting images on a photo sharing website like Flickr invites negative comments. I've long said that photographers wanting to control "their brand" should be very leary of sites like this. Typically it's those negative comments (since we tend to respond to them like you did), that work their way up to the top of search engines like Google and Bing (given the algorithms that they use to promote results). Edit: And now, if you look on your wordpress feed, someone has gone thru all of your images and voted them a 1 star. Same person? Who knows?

The question that people must ask is the "visibility" worth the risk?

It doesn't offend me, I just can't believe that a complete stranger would argue a point that is so obviously wrong for no reason.

Disbelief is a better word lol!

That guy went way beyond a simple opinion. And I didn't even see what was deleted.. I'm afraid if I'd been called out like that I'd have been less than civil. Agree we can sometimes let our emotions walk away with us and then it's time to forget and move on and I'd guess it's time to move on..
