Nice! Good idea Sidebyte, using FD with MILCs. Some of those old lenses are great, although some are real dogs. I have an FD 70-200 f/4 (or thereabouts) which isn't very good, although I also have a vivitar series 1 which is pretty nice, an FD and FL 55mm 1.2 (and another FL which I'll adapt for EOS), and a decent wide angle. The availability of good old lenses, along with the Canon's ability to use EOS lenses might convince me to go for the new Canon mirrorless. I was really looking into the micro 4/3 stuff, but the AF on my current lenses might make the canon version more useful (especially as a backup camera).

To update this thread, I just ordered an EOS adapter for my FL 55mm f/1.2 and hope to have it sometime around the beginning of next week.

I also ordered some of the yongnuo YN622 triggers for canon, and hopefully they'll do what I need to do. My old phottix triggers have served me well, but I can really use the HSS and a working IR focus assist.

After reading up on the Triggertrap the last couple days I ordered one tonight. I need to replace my recently broken time laps trigger so decided I'd to give this one a try.

Canon 430EX II Flash to replace my 430EX that was acting up, but now may be my camera instead. Guess I'll find out and decide whether to return when it gets here.

I've been looking at the Manfrotto 561b. Little spendy, but I'm thinking I can kill 2 birds with one rock & use it for video also? I'll have to give this some extra thought.
