Just tried the Triggertrap. One very nice feature for an old guy like me is the camera controls are displayed on the large iPad screen. Touch screen controls, that's cool............

A Gitzo GMT5561T traveler monopod. Tripods are best but when you cannot get a tripod into a location yet are unable to handhold a camera for any number of reasons, a monopod is a good substitute. I really like it.

Giottos MTL 8361 Pro Carbon Tripod.

Had it out for a test run today, seems stable and is easy to work with. The weight of the carbon tripod compared to my old alu. is quite noticeable on a longer walk.

They advertised the iPad app as $4.99, but when we downloaded it, it was free. Don't know if that was a promotion deal or if it will ask for cash at some point down the road? Looks like there's many more apps available & more coming out all the time, so maybe this first one was just a hook?
Pretty cool set up though.
