My back up battery for my 60D and my 3rd 3TB drive arrived today.

*EDIT: battery is charged and 3tb HDD (which was $89 shipped - awesome) is installed, formatted, assigned, and ready to go.

Canon G12 camera for those times when I really don't want to (or can't) carry all that SLR gear.

I got my G11 a couple years ago for exactly that reason! You will love it!

Just made a few necessary purchases:

Bought a replacement right side rubber grip for the camera I just got back from a repair. The camera was repaired and given a thorough cleaning but due to a misunderstanding when I turned it in, the loose grip did not get replaced. So what otherwise looks like a brand new camera has a piece of body trim flapping in the breeze.

Ink- The past three years I've been lucky. We're a mobile on-site fulfillment operation and nearly every venue is within a mile or two of an Office Depot. They've always stocked the ink we use. It's been so handy to run by and pick up a necessary cartridge or two as needed. Admittedly, the cost isn't the best price available but we've never needed to keep money tied up in inventory or needed to create storage and keep up with extras. We buy other things there too, like envelops, CDs and envelopes and with the rewards program they send me back a 10% credit each quarter. Office Depot no longer stocks the ink. B&H to the rescue. A full compliment of ink costs $104 for the 8 cartridges. Beats the $18 I was paying. Individual cartridges are a little more expensive but still less than what I've been paying. So I bought a full round of ink and I'll have to get accustomed to keeping a stock level and reordering.
