Default iPhone Apps

Not sure if this is in the right place, but I've just aquired an iPhone 3GS. Does anybody know of any worthwhile photo apps for it. I searched the photography catagory on the App store a it's full of apps for taking pics on the phone. I was hoping for reference material and I've even heard of an app that turns the phone into a light meter (can't find it though)!!

Many Thanks for anything you can come up with!!

Daz.

I've tried one of the light meter programs and it's worse than the in camera meter.

Apps that I am told are fairly decent for editing iphone pics or photography related are:
PS Express, Light meter, Paint it Now, iRelease, Camera Dojo, Light it Light, Instagram, photosynth, photo buffet, ipose u, and iHandy level to ensure the camera is level on the tripod. I have not tried all of these yet...(only a couple)

Ps express is ok , photo buffet is very good in my opinion most of the rick sammon stuff is handy and podcasts are interesting sometimes too, not really a fan of much of the others with the exception of Photocalc , tapatalk obviously allows you to view photocamel much easier on the iphone so thats worth while for on the move.

any questions on any of these feel free to p.m me

Enjoy your iphone
Best wishes Grant

Hi there,
If you are looking for some cool filters and image-styles to edit your picson iPhone, then you must try AurynCam app. It's a free app and helps turn pictures into art. It's basically a community, where people share their AurynCam edits, but that's up to you, you can choose to NOT share your pics with others too

I got a great DOF calculator for my Andriod phone. I am sure there is an iPhone version. VERY helpful when out in the field.

I use the Camera+, you can do a bunch of post work and Hipstmatic.

Hipstamatic is a fun app as you can make presets with lighting/film/lens affects. Its more "vintage". Ive gotten great prints out of it. I gave a few away for Christmas this year! lol I printed 8x8's.

This is one I framed for my step sisters son. Its a toy from the backyard.
