Default Re: Getting noticed?

When getting started, communications skills can be as important as great photographs. Sloppy grammer and misspelled words as in the original post make a poor first impression. Some may suspect that if 10 years of school have failed to give a fair command of English, your photographic skills may be unreliable. You will be judged not just by photography, but by the complete impression you make on others.

Becoming known as a competant photographer takes time. You might create some demand for your work by giving free photographs to the subjects. Don't expect to make money at first. You are only 16. That leaves many many years ahead. Most of the great photographers were much older before getting noticed.
