I'm not sure this belongs in this category but it is a PS technique I like for portraits (especially of blondes).

I like this a lot.

If you don't mind tell... What is the process it would be nice to do for my daughters.

To JPhotoz:

Took the photo of blond model, made a duplicate layer, used diffuse glow filter, then erased a bit of the second layer to let the eye detail show through.

You may have to fool around a bit with the DG filter to get the effect just right.

Have fun. Hope your daughters like it.

Thank you so much for the instructions. I gave it a try. Here is my first attempt. Now to find a blond!

Watch the color where you erase. Maybe convert to B/W first? Make sure your foreground/background swatches are b/w.
Otherwise looks very good.

I think this would have been better in the portrait section but given the PS work I can see why you put it here.

Some people would say it's worked to much but it's a matter of taste. I for one like what you've done here.

Hey JackCat,

I could have put the original (which was quite nice by itself) in portrait but since it was a special effect I put it here. It's a nice dreamy look (says I) and the models love it.

I think that saying a special effect is worked too much in PP would be an odd comment since that's the whole point of it.
