A few years later we had the "Springer Brothers" as they were known on our regular walks. Quiz was a really sweetie - black and white. His body just gave out after 15 years in 2010.

The liver and white brother to Quiz was just the best buddy a person could ever have. Again he just gave out at the age of 16. Lived one year more than his brother. Rusty died on January 21, 2011. The same year my mother died.

There is some good news, though. I dog for free came to live with us unexpectedly and she is our little girl dog! Just look at how beautiful she is. You have no idea how much love she brought into our house. I think we needed each other. She is four now and we love her to death.

We lost this one in 2008. Her name was Muffin.

Muffin and her second favorite toy. A pink, plastic, boomerang.
Looks like she has a long pink tongue. What a sweetie.

Hovis, although creaking a little (we suspect damage to his back from Chocca's overenthusiasm which is only now making itself apparent) still enjoys a somewhat shortened daily walk and lives on

Very nice photo to remember all of them by. So sorry for the two that are gone, though.
