My choice is number 3. I think the dark background compliments the features. The piece of grass in the mouth gives it a casual tone. I also like 1 but there is something about the eyes that doesn't look as natural to me.

Can you pin it down? this was morning light, and I don't think I did any cloning in it, so it is pretty much as shot, other than some darkening on the shoulder.

On #3 others have compliment on the split background but I like it. Possibly the all dark background could be even better.
Its probably me but on #1 the left eye doesn't seem to be looking straight ahead like the right eye. Very slight but it caught my eye.
