Default Old Pentax Glass comes ALIVE!

For a very long time, I've been looking for an older Pentax lens.... a SMC Pentax-M 100mm f:2.8. They are hard to find, especially one in good condition, but I finally found one on a local Craig's List ad. I called and it was still available and it's now mine! All MINE!

This lens lives up to the older M-model Pentax lenses of yesteryear. Solid as a rock build. All metal. Very compact. Butter-smooth focusing ring and the images are oh so sharp! Color rendition is awesome! I'm lovin' this lens!

Here's what they have to say about it in The Pentax Forum reviews: SMC Pentax-M 100mm F2.8 Reviews - M Prime Lenses - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database

Without a doubt, the best $30.00 I ever spent!

Here's a recent shot I took with it. Maybe I should give a "WARNING: EXTREMELY SHARP IMAGE" caveat, eh?

Shot with a Pentax K-50. ISO 800, 1/3000th @ f:8.

Thanks. I couldn't get my cash out of my pocket soon enough for fear the seller would change his mind! These are SO hard to find at ANY price, much less for what I paid! What is it they say about a blind pig and acorns?
