It's funny how there are some dSLR shooters that scoff at the little point and shoots. Personally I think every photographer should have one in their arsenal of equipment. they come in very handy. I love my little Fujifilm EXR.

So true funny how it seems that indeed these come in handy when you have to travel light but still want a better picture than with the avarage phone can be made

it is not my only high range p&s

i have a casio EX-H20 , a Konica Minolta Dimage Z3 (only 4.2mp) and this one with a lot of range

the casio is special because of the video options and stills are also good (9mp)
the Ricoh is a in between the others camera with stablisation (like the casio and the ricoh and the konika minolta) heck i just seem to attract to camera's and gear

Nice shots from your locale Dirk.
When we travel we often have grandkids along so taking a lot of camera gear, lenses etc. is not feasible. My Panasonic LX7 goes everywhere I do and the results from the f 1.4 Leica lens are very nice.

thanks considering that it is only 5mp they are pretty good , the camera is still carryable and runs on lion batteries (two were inlcuded in the second hand deal )

i will take it with me on holidays too when i go to places where my dslr attracts attention from the thief squad
