H i all. Has anyone had any experience with this lens? I picked one up. The blades were oily but I understand it's a common issues with these lenses. Anyway it was fixed quickly and is not an issue anymore.

While not having this particular lens I can tell you that I have always liked that brand when I was shooting with a Konica autoreflex T2 in the mid 70's.

The Kiron 24/2 was my favourite lens, before I finally bought the Pentax FA 24/2. Optically the Kiron performs nicely and is useable even wide open.I have never used it on digital, only with film bodies, because it also developped those oily aperture blades and I am too lazy to clean it. But I plan to bring it back to live, as it is so much smaller and more lightweight, than the FA.
