The price and lack of versatility of Polaroid film - Ever try to make a copy of a Polaroid print, let alone an enlargement, before optical scanners became readily available? - put me off getting one. Besides, the camera I already had was better, which isn't really saying much. I also had my own darkroom at the time. And I think I remember the Swinger jingle too.

Being already very well-versed in copy work, both as
to camera work and chemical controls, copying B&W
Polaroid shots was no problem. Acoarst they'd never
look like a plus-x or tri-x camera-original shot, but a
decently exposed Polaroid image has an aesthetic of
it's own, which could be captured and enhanced and
nothing you shot on "real film" could imitate that.

Sounds more like making a virtue of a limitation to me, but that's fine if it happens to be your cup o' tea. I don't see enough of a potential market to support this particular product long-term.
