Should he stay retired, yes and no. He has nothing left to prove in my opinion. But what better way to retire than with a Superbowl victory. Whatever team he goes on will be in the playoffs. By no means he is one man team. But someone of his caliber makes any player play better.
I also would have like to see him go out as a Packer. But that ship has sailed. I just read that the Packer's would owe Favre 12.5 million this year. That's alot of money any way you slice it. I do disagree with you about his legacy. It may not be in jeapardy but it could be damaged not so much by this little preseason drama but if he plays somewhere and sucks. I hope that doesn't happen, but it could.

Agreed! Jepordy may have been to strong of a word. Damaged, yes. I have always been a huge Favre fan. For me with all the pre-season drama. Wherever he goes I hope he has a hella season.

the fault for the farve issue should be rested at the feet of the sportswriters. they were the onces calling him done when the packers had a bad team one year. the next year this was fixed to a point, did the writers say oops my bad? no they just kept on him about hanging it up. so the team figures he is done and wants to move on. he thinks no one wants to watch him play and succumbs to the media pressure.
so now we know farve is not done yet. the packers are now done with farve, because they have to be. farve must go, sad because a bunch of people with no business telling anyone how to live let alone how or howlong to play ruined a players carreer and a teams karma and possible shot at more post season success.

so a few of you are upset at the packers and or farve. get mad at the right people, the sports writers

Actually, I've seen many reports with sportswrites, Chris Mortenson to name one, who have said sorry and have in fact, defended both Favre and the Pack depending on the situation. I don't think you can just blanket the sportswriters as the guilty party. Favre is no push over. He would never succumb ro media pressure.

Here is the home page of Bang Cartoons. It's kind of quite right now but once the season starts things will pick up.

Post your favorite here, if you find one.

Oh, and here is the Faverr one. Pardon the intro

Ha ha, we've been waiting for that, JD

The season won't be complete without those dancing "things"
