Phil, welcome. Let me be the first to offer my condolences for the elimination of the Bears. They did put up a good try.

I agree with Mike. They did try hard. Too bad they couldn't win one for their coach. What's his name? Lovie Ditka or something? But that Brian "The Fridge" Erlacker is a player, huh?

I see that no one but me is picking the Redskins. Hmm...

Wow... Football smack from friendly photogs; I love it!

I am a Bears fan (lived there for many years), but come on... They beat the Panthers handily in the season and they are BETTER now that they are healthy and now that Rex Grossman is back. The Panthers, on the other hand, beat a Giants team that practically backed into the playoffs. I'm not so sure that last week's win was all that impressive. Either way, win or lose, I have to echo an earlier post: This is going to be a great weekend of football!

All I know is the "rookie" QBs have had there lunch handed to them so far this playoff season. Lets see, Eli Manning. A stellar performance of getting the other teams guys to catch three of his passes. And how about that little Chris Simms fella? He is lucky he didn't get spit at. Carson Plamer...well, he got to leave early, but who was picking the Bengals anyway? Is Leftwitch a playoff regular, or is his 1 interception and no TDs an indicator?

I'd consider little Rexie Grossman a "rookie" as far as playoff experience goes, but Del-Homey's been there

Jay, I'm rooting for the Redskins... but as a backup plan I'm also rooting for the Sea Hawks.

Byte your tounge Jared. You don't have to get insulting just because I'm by-polar uh, I mean by-partison on which of the two teams win.

All I want for XMas is for the Patriots to win this weekend. If they lose, I'm going to Iowa and kick some butt.

Super bowl prediction: Redskins vs Patriots. Old-time smash-mouth football reigns supreme!

I've now applied my proprietary mathematical modeling formula to the upcoming playoffs and am able to predict the outcomes with some certainty:

Redskins at Seahawks
Patriots at Broncos
Steelers at Colts
Panthers at Da Bears

Super Bowl is as previously predicted: Redskins vs Patriots. Mathematical model favors Patriots, I'm afraid, but by a margin so narrow as to give me hope still that the Redskins will pull out the big one.
