NFL 2018/2019 Season

Ah, it's late July and NFL fans know what that means...yup, training camps! It also means the regular season is just around the corner.

As such, please tell us about your team: The expectations, additions/subtractions, your rookie class, or any major changes such as a new head coach or a new QB.

Best of luck to all teams (well, maybe not the Rams :-) ).

Quick thoughts for the new season (NFC version):

- The NFC CG will revolve around those four teams. Rams, Falcons, Vikings, and Packers.
- The Rams will be this year's Champs.
- The 49ers will make the playoffs as a WC team. They will be One & Done, though.
- The Eagles will exit the playoffs early. Though Carson Wentz will be really good. It's the SB hangover thing.
- The Seahawks will be pedestrian. And will fire Pete Carroll by the end of the season.

The CBS picks group we used last season automatically rolls over for the new season. I’ll post the link again once I clean it up a little.

Cleveland looks like it is staying in the cellar. The owner is apparently pretending like 1-31 didnít happen.

It starts at the top.

Always sad when an ownership group makes the Yorks look reasonable. I guess Iím always skeptical of any 49ers turnaround because the Yorks have a way of taking success and ruining it.

My oldest cousin on my dadís side of the family is celebrating his Washington Capitals winning a Stanley Cup (DCís first title since the Doug Williams Super Bowl). What does ownership do? Enter a contract renegotiation with the coach in bad faith, compelling the coach to resign, and installing their own guy who they had kept around as an assistant coach.

Has some shades of the Jim Tomsula era, but in hockey. I guess itís fitting that Interimsula is the Skinsí D-Line coach now.

Hard to get excited about the season yet with all the hold-outs and contract renegotiate crybabies and even Owens skipping the Hall of Fame deal just gives NFL a bad name.

So I'll wait a bit before announcing that the Lions still won't be good enough and the announcers and commentators on the TV games will just stink as much as ever with their insatiable love for some players and how every game they cover has at least one of the best players at their position in the NFL.

And I'd rather see more teams lose than win. How's that?

Ha ha. You hit it on the head, Mr.P.
It seems every player who had a good play = The best at his position.

The Pick 'Em group we used last year is live again: http://photocamel.football.cbssports.com/

This year it includes postseason games too, so it'll keep track of everything as long as we all remember to make our picks. Picks are due five minutes before start of each game like before.

Any new members who want in, please let me know! I think I just need an email to invite, if I remember correctly...
