Agree with Michael. But, it is a funny game and season. One key injury on a couple teams and pretty soon it all changes. Really good teams go down fast and medium teams get pumped up and play better. They could get 4 wins if some teams just pack it in

The Lions lost Calvin Johnson because they are the Lions....but they might be better now. Or worse. No one to triple team, so is up to Stafford. But the Lions can do better than the 49ers. SO one less team to fight for for the 1st pick in the draft

Potential wins: One of the Rams games, Bills, Bucs, Saints, Falcons, and perhaps the Fins. So 3 wins is not unreasonable.

I still think the 49ers lose to the Bills and the Saints, but I could see the Falcons game being a win for SF. I think I'm about to give up on them finally putting it all together... They tease each season but never pull it off.

No matter how bad the Saints have gotten, I think Drew Brees and his offense still outscore San Francisco, even if he's throwing to scrubs.

Ravens say bye-bye to Trent Richardson.

I saw a page on Facebook describe him as "the first legally-blind running back".

Trent Richardson waived by Baltimore Ravens - NFL.com

Hope he saved some money for the all the junk food he must be putting down. Maybe he can lose weight, go to Canada or something, and salvage his career that way.

We'll always have that preseason game in Oakland where he had a wide open path to the end zone and ran into the back of the offensive line instead.

I still can't believe Cleveland got their first-round pick they spent on him back when they traded him to Indy.

Still wondering what inspired his rookie season where he had 1317 yards from scrimmage and scored 12 touchdowns.

Maybe that was all the gas he had left in the tank after three years of college football at Alabama.

I guess when you're the only option on a bad Browns team...

SI booked us at 2-14. Ouch!

That hurts. Deeply.

So that's the season opener hosting the Rams, and I'm guessing Week 7 hosting the Bucs.

I really hope I'm wrong about this.

Basically, Michael, SI agrees with you. Sigh.

The same journalist from SI said the same as you did. He said (paraphrasing here): For some reason the Rams will lose to us in the opener. Then they beat the Hawks next week [@ Seattle.]. Go figure!

Same old Rams, perhaps

The question is: Who will pick first in next year's draft? It's a competition between three teams. Tenn., Browns, and (gulp) the 49ers
