Firefox for a long time. Switched to Chrome for a while, but it didn't manage colors well and sucked horsepower - back to Firefox now.

I have the lot! Internet Explorer, Firefox, Waterfox and Google Chrome. Chrome seems to be the fastest but Waterfox (a Firefox spin off) is no laggard either!

Firefox, mainly because of essential plugins for someone who is visually challenged. NoSquint allows me to view enlarged text alongside images which are displayed at actual size. That facility is wonderful for looking at Photocamel pages. Readability is also a fantastic aid that I use a lot for reading newspapers online. It also gets rid of the increasingly popular gray text on a white background, ugh!

Another extremely useful Firefox add-on I use is Lastpass. If you have problems remembering passwords, check it out! (There is also a Lastpass plugin for Chrome.)

I use Chrome occasionally for a few "difficult" web sites. The AdBlock plugin is installed on my copies of Chrome and Firefox.

Torch, which is basically Chrome with extras. Firefox when I need to.

Chrome on my iPhone...which means yes, you do have an alternative to Safari.

Firefox for me for years. I have been experiencing the failures the past month or two (Thunderbird as well, although maybe 5% as much as FF). I stick with it for ability to keep cookie-setting under control, block ads, and get rid of those %^&*(& LSO cookies - do you realize how many news sites use those LSO cookies to limit free access?

Might have to switch if the new version of Firefox is too embedded with yahoo as the search engine, since they announced today that yahoo would be the default now (Google was for the last 10 years)...

No problem, you just move Google (or another preference) to the top. You can also remove any that you don't want.

BTW, I cannot remember the last time that Firefox crashed. For me, it is very stable and does not hog reseources.
