Once photography enters your bloodstream, it is like a disease.

Software: Too numerous to list but my most used utility is ShiftN for perspective correction

Gear: Canon G12, no tripod, no lenses, no flash, no remote, no cases or bags!

The helicopter pilot is amazing on those, too. Very nice, smooth shots.

You know what the most dangerous words in the English language are?

Any redneck saying "Watch this!"

You just need to get to a safe distance and make your bets!

Glad you all enjoyed the clips.

BTW, if you look at the credits, you will see that the team used a drone for the air photography.

Thanks for posting these, always nice to be reminded of their existence. His skill added to Scotland's beauty, all captured by some amazing videographers... this is what the Internet is for.

So, where is the disclaimer to "don't try this at home"?

The guy is AMAZING! I don't care what Ian says But, yeah, the flip was cool. I didn't expect that.

The wide angle on the GoPro definitely makes those ridges look a lot scarier than they really are. That aside, the views are fantastic. Really beautiful location.

The cinematography was pretty awe-inspiring. I'm glad you pointed out that the aerials were shot with a drone. Drone technology is bringing unobtainable shots like that to a more budget conscious level. Pretty cool video overall. Thanks for posting this, Martin.

Yeah, I had watched it the other day from another source, and stayed to the credits although it was obviously a UAV helicopter platform. Had it been a real helicopter, it would've been the cameraman on board that was making the smooth shots. I wasn't clear when I said that in my attempt to avoid the loaded term "drone" ... I meant "RC helicopter".

I love how the guy actually rows out to the place. I gotta get to scotland one of these days.
