Stef, I only repeated the term used by the film makers themselves. A drone is a drone is a drone. It's probably only the US media who have choosen to metamorphose the term into a sinister war machine.

All the news media on this side of the pond have happily reported Danny Macaskill's fantastic feats as having been filmed from a drone.

I meant "RC helicopter".

I love how the guy actually rows out to the place. I gotta get to scotland one of these days.

Once photography enters your bloodstream, it is like a disease.

Software: Too numerous to list but my most used utility is ShiftN for perspective correction

Gear: Canon G12, no tripod, no lenses, no flash, no remote, no cases or bags!

Duck, I chose the title because it's a very common phrase on UK TV - especially on children's TV or popular science programmes!

Glad you enjoyed it.

I am surprised that, so far, nobody has mentioned the music. It is typical of Gaelic music in NW Scotland and very similar to some Irish gaelic music too.

Yeah, I was poking fun at that too as here in the states we make fun of the 'rednecks' who do stupid stunts because they saw someone else do it on TV.

I almost commented on the music. I love Gaelic music (you should see my music collection). Personally, I am more fond of the old traditional stuff but there are many great new artists who deftly blend traditional sounds with the new.
