That comment is almost too dumb to respond to. Yes, let's give every teacher in the country a gun. I wonder how many more killings we would have to endure then?

Let's give every person a gun. Then every time someone gets pissed off about any little thing, he or she can go shoot a bunch of people.

What a wonderful world the National Rifle Association and its lemmings have created!!!!

M. Worthington, have you spared a thought for the dead and injured? The lives lost?

Your post says no. Very sad to use a tragedy to advocate gun control.

A tragedy? You call this a tragedy, unrelated to guns? It this a tragedy caused by someone overeating? Oversleeping? Slipping on a banana peel?

Did I say this was un-related to guns? No. I do not read that in my post, either in the words or in between the lines. What I am saying is this. Can you spare a thought before launching into a tirade?

That is what saddens me, you made NO mention of the adults and children murdered.

I did spare a thought. It's in my original post. Do I have to spare your thought? Am I allowed to have my own?

If guns cause killings then:

cars cause drunk driving,
pencils cause spelling mistakes and,
spoons made Rosie O'Donnell fat

How long are we going to substitute vicarious liability for personal responsibility?

Dance around the issue all you want. Facts are facts. Where guns are hard to come by, fewer people die.
