The problem with T.O. is that he is a cancer in the locker room. The guy is an amazing talent, but his is a knucklehead.

He will make Cincy better until the losses start piling up and he starts pointing the finger at everyone but himself.

Once again, the Redskins won the offseason super bowl. Yeah!!!

On the way to their next super bowl championship in 2010/2011.

JD, with the addition of Mike Shanahan as the head coach, and McNabb as the QB, you should be really excited about this upcoming season. A lot more than in previous years

I wouldn't be surprised if they are the 2nd best in the NFC-East at the end of the season. Sadly, the Boys will own the division this time around. Sigh

At this point I'll believe success when I see it. Skins are 8-8 at best, methinks.

Don't you mean NFC East? I mean, I know the 'Skins have the potential to be better than the Rams, Seahawks, and the Cardinals.... =)

Shanahan will defy history if he wins it all with the 'Skins, as even the Tuna couldn't win it all with his teams after the Giants. Even with McNabb, their top 3 running backs combine for nearly 90 years of age. The NFL is a pass-oriented league, but McNabb's going to need a little help in the backfield at some point, and right now he doesn't really have it unless Willie Parker, Clinton Portis, and Larry Johnson (and maybe even Brian Westbrook if he lands in Washington) find the fountain of youth.

If the Giants aren't contending for second place, expect Tom Coughlin to be ousted as coach of the G-Men. Last year was a disaster, especially on defense.

The Iggles are good on both sides of the ball, and Kolb seems like the real deal. Even if they go 6-10 a la Aaron Rodgers Year 1, they'll look to contend soon after that.

Ha ha, already found the mistake and corrected it. Shame on me.

Yeah, the big concern with the Skins is the running game. But remember how Shanahan can pull a RB from a hat and the RB will perform at high level when Shanahan was at Denver. I'm sure he can do something similar with the Skins.

Hmm, we'll see.

ESPN Seifert: "Favre doesn't deserve our Trust"

Couldn't have said it better myself. I'll believe it when I see it.

Wouldn't mind being wrong; Favre's done a lot and has nothing to prove, and has only been alienating fans for the last number of years with his antics. Can't say I'll miss the sideshow.

-------

Browns rookie RB Montario Hardesty hurts knee. It's college all over again. I remember seeing this guy play in person last year, and I thought he was a pretty solid-looking RB (and he's pretty big), but he couldn't stay healthy.

Favre told Ed Werder that he has not decided yet. Copy this into your browser, because vBulletin/PhotoCamel thinks it's a video: sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=hruby/100803_brett_favre_retiring&sportCat=nfl

And the Vikings are supposedly offering more money for Favre to keep playing. Tavaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels suck that bad?

Fav-ruh is real good at keeping himself in the news for doing absolutely nothing.

ESPN Page 2 Humor guys ask Favre not to go: sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=hruby/100803_brett_favre_retiring&sportCat=nfl

A better take, IMHO, than anything else out there touting Favre watch as "news". Let's face it, it's entertainment of the worst variety.
