Default Erroneous aperture read by F70

Dear all,

I own a Nikon F70 that reads erroneously aperture from leses (in modes A and M, of course). Two examples using the nomenclature [Aperture at lens, Aperture read by F70]:

With AF 24mm F/2.8D: [2.8, 2.8], [4, 4], [5.6, 8], [8, 11], [11, 16],...
With AF 50mm F/1,4D: [1.4, 1,4], [2, 2], [2.8, 4], [4, 5.6], [5.6, 8],...

As you can see only the two first apertures are well read, but from third to the last always there is an aperture error.

Of course, Speedlight SB-26 agrees with F70.

Does F70 read aperture from lens mechanically or digitally through contacts ?.

Many thanks.

What batteries are you using. If other than the recommended battery by Nikon, the voltage variance will effect readings?
