Question Budget Fisheye Lens for Nikon

Hi - My daughter is wanting a fisheye lens to use on her Nikon digital camera (d5500) I believe. She wanted Altura Photo 8mm f/3.0 Professional Ultra Wide Angle Aspherical Fisheye Lens

I've been away for a bit, but I've never heard of the brand before. It used to be Sigma or Tokina for nikon options.

Any thoughts on this lens or what might be a good alternative. Not looking to spend a ton of money, but don't want something that not going to be quality either.

Thanks

Amazon has them for sale and has over 80 reviews of the lens.

Look at the Samyang at B&H Photo. I have one for my Canon and it is great. On sale now for $200..

Just received my 7-Artisans [brand] fisheye
a few hours ago. Build seems excellent. The
few quick test pix indicate a very usable IQ.

Been away a while, says you ? So, welcome
back, and expect to see brand names you've
never heard of. I looked up the Altura that
you mentioned ? Same lens as mine, but by
another name. Nothing startling about that.

BEST of ALL ? Cost $139

Since I'm just beginning to test it [practical
tests only, no "lab" stuff] I just shot one for
you ... and me, too ! Ignore the funny color
on the person's face. He is lit by the screen
of his PC :-(

Here's the shot, full view plus a crop, @ f/4
and ISO 3200, a bit of noise, but hey ... it's
Real World testing !

Good shot. I went ahead and purchased the one I had mentioned. It had some good reviews on amazon. Of course, for the same lens, I would have preferred to pay $50 less, but I didn't know, so that's what I got.

Thanks for the feedback.
