Default Scanners for MF

I will soon be getting into MF with a Bronica ETRS. While I will not be scanning all of my film, there will be instances where I will want to do some PP. What do y'all use for your scanning needs? (I did a search and it seems there hasn't been a thread on scanners in quite some time) Do any of you use the scanners in all-in-one printers? I have read recommendations against them, but those are mainly in articles that are more than a few years old and technology has progressed a LOT since then. I know the Canon MP610 can scan at 4800 optical dpi, but can scanners like that successfully scan film? My printer broke recently and I need a new one anyways and those photo printers/scanners would be mighty convenient to scan and be able to print off proofs as well, although more often than not the most convenient option is rarely the best option.

So what do y'all use for your scanning needs?

I have a CanoScan 8600F that I picked up at a local Best Buy a year or two back....offers flat bed and transparency scanning for slides, 35mm strips and 120/220.....also came with effective software for handling the scanning....plus, it was under $200....

I use a CanoScan i9900. It is a flatbed scanner with a transparency light in the lid. It works for everything from 35mm to 4x5.
