What is the absolutely largest film size you could get? Might be fun to build a camera around that (assuming/hoping it's waaay larger than about A2, i.e. 594mm x 420mm, or 23,38 x 16,53 inches).

HEH HEH! Reminds me of the printing on 220 roll film leader that has the standard start mark and another start mark for "Special" cameras. So someone uses that mark because his camera was pretty special to him!
