You get lucky on eBay sometimes.

Do you have any Lubi shots you can share?

I got some medium format gear, which is mostly collecting dust. One of it is the Chinese Seagull TLR. That camera is actually very usable and has travelled with my to Greece and Egypt before.

On a budget the Pentacon Six can deliver nice results, due to the high quality lenses available. The mechanical reliability of the system is infamous - the film transport. Once used to her shortcomings, the P6 will reward you with pictures of great tonality.

The picture shown is a public British Sculpture exhibition in the Ambras castle park in my hometown (Innsbruck / Austria).

Cheers, Sean.

The above picture is with the P6 with KODAK GOLD. The picture here was done with the Seagull on AGFA ULTRA. Sean.

Very nice shots. The P6 and Seagull shots show you don't have to spend a fortune to get some very nice MF gear!

Yeah,
I love the look of film although it's ALOT of work.
Waiting for development (2-3 days), scanning etc.

But then again B&W is just amazing.

What piqued my interest again is stumbling across a photographer. Google "Jay Dusard" and you can see what a Busch Pressman D can do in the right hands and the right processing.

On the advice given I am going to get back into the swing of things. I know a Polaroid back will work as I had seen my Dad use them many times. So will start again there. Now with digital and the different types of processing this could be very exciting.

Thanks,
Don

Hi all MF-fans, I've been lurking around some time now, I must confess. I shoot with 40D which is great, but I have an old Rolleiflex (TLR) with 75mm Carl Zeiss Tessar collecting dust, just love that camera, must be the best camera I've ever owned. So, should I start shooting film again, after twenty odd years... One problem that pops to mind immediately: I should scan my film, shouldn't I, but with what, are there MF-scanners around, if so, they must be prohibitely expensive. Digital MF, like Frank said, prices of MF digital backs may come down quite soon but still, five years, ten years, who knows exactly.

Still, great to have found such a forum with so many MF fans lurking around here, in what must be one of the darkest recesses of the net...

One question: Does anyone have experience of Rolleiflex 6800 Integral (with AF), I'd love to try out that camera...
