At good prices or small quantities.

I just went shopping and 25 or 50 sheet boxes seem to be the smallest. I only shot intermittently with this format and shoot about 4-5 sheets per job so a ten pack would be about ideal.

So where do you shop for 8x10 film nowadays? I am in Los Angeles, and am familiar with Freestyle and Samy's.

You might try B&H...
Here is the link
Sheet Film | B&H Photo Video

They have it in larger quantity packs.

Freestyle will special order for you, just ask their best employee Francesca nicely.

Thank you. I forgot to say I looked at B&H and Midwest Photo Exchange. I am not interested in large packages. I actually prefer small packages. I don't want to store this material.

Sorry, I mis-read your first post!
I thought you were looking for larger packs!

Are you looking for B&W or color?

Hey Speedgraphic man are you even reading the title of the post ? :LOL

However, just because I suppose it should be repeated in the body of the thread, I am looking for black and white film.

Since you are local have you tried the Arista EDU film vs the Ilford Delta Pro 100?

Ha Ha Ha!

To quote Marilyn Monroe, "No, just blind as a bat".

I usually shoot Arista EDU in 4x5. (I believe it is just re-branded Foma film).

Good stuff, I sometimes buy from this place.
UltraFine On Line
They use to have Large Format, but no longer.

Ha ha! Glad you took that well. I am going to do a comparison of 4x5 vs 8x10 on portraiture and wanted to run a side by side test to see the difference in work flow and end product.

So I only need a little film for this test, and am trying not to have a lot of left overs.

Seeing as how you and I are local (relatively) to one another, perhaps you'd like to play along?

Do you process it yourself?

I do B&W as well as color processing.

I have a full darkroom in storage, but have access to another one for black and white. I do not enjoy printing or processing color film, but I love black and white. If I get into more 8x10 work, I will have to buy another enlarger as my largest one only goes up to 4x5.
