Smile Macro Challenge #3 - Spiders

The theme for our third macro challenge will be Spiders.

The challenge will run for one month this time, beginning Thursday, November 1 and ending Friday night, November 30th.

You may submit your own original work shot during or before the challenge. Given the longer length of this challenge, I encourage everyone to get out and make some NEW photos for this challenge.

Please post your images in this thread along with any technical information you would like to share such as camera, lens, shutter speed, aperture, iso, lighting conditions, post processing, location, subject details, etc.

I will award (and so can any of you!) karma for outstanding work.

Some shots of a male house spider from yesterday. You can see the complicated structures on the palps used for signalling and sperm packet transfer. All taken using flash and focus stacked.
I've included a cross-eye stereogram ( don't look if you can view these but don't like spiders )

Some I took of a Garden Spider in my front garden...(Sigma SD14, Nikon Micro Nikkor 200mm f4 IF @f22, fitted with 2x 52mm Canon 500D close up filters and lit with a single Metz 54mz-3 flashgun):
