This looks something like an earwig, but I can't tell for sure because I can't see the posterior well enough to tell if it has the earwig's large pincers.Pincers or not, though, this image shows off the shiny exoskeleton and the shallow, widely-spaced pockmarks and the sparse microscopic "hairs" that would be quite invisible to the naked eye.

Scoundrel - yes it is similar to an earwig but does not have the rear end pincers.
