Kind of cute and then maybe cute isn't the right word. Not too sure about the eye image, but a good macro shot. All are very well done, as others agree.

The scales around the eye fascinate me, pointy ones in place of eyelashes. Wonder if they serve the same purpose?

I find it interesting that even in reptiles like this juveniles have many of the characteristic anatomy that are found in juvenile mammals, disproportionately large eyes, short snout. In mammals, from baby kittens and puppies to human babies the eyes and forehead are disproportionately large, the nose and mouth are small, body small with short limbs. In humans these features elicit maternal feelings in women, but that wouldn't be a reason for them to exist in a reptile for which maternal care is not needed.

Many of the dolls and characters marketed to women deliberately have these features to elicit maternal behavior to improve sales. Such characters only elicit a "meh" from men. Here's an example:
