I have not shot macro for a while and decided to go out this afternoon for couple of hours. 5DII and Sigma 150 F2.8 @ F16 and ISO 640 in miday sun. (tripod of course)

Lovely series - obviously not forgotten how to shoot macro.

Nice shots, that mid-day sun is a killer. I shoot the same lens...so I will suggest that you try and shoot at around f/11 for better sharpness and bring the ISO down as low as you can. I think these settings may improve your images even more.

Much appreciated! I was trying to max out the DOF. The whites were almost burnt and lowering the ISO would help.
